NEWS: The proposed approach of an integrated distributed object base and, in particular, iDBPQL was the focus of our recently presented advanced technical seminar at the 25th IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE), Shanghai, China on April 01, 2009. The project originated from research efforts at the Clausthal University of Technology, Germany (pre 2000). The majority of the research has been conducted by the Database Technology group from the former Information Science Research Centre, Palmerston North, New Zealand between 2000 and 2008. Key team members include: Prof. Dr. Klaus-Dieter Schewe; Dr. Markus Kirchberg; Dr. Hui Ma; Dr. Alexei Tretiakov; Mr. Faizal Riaz-ud-Din; and Several Honours and Masters students.
